Probably! While the goal of the session is to document your family interacting with each other, I always try to get a more traditional photo with everyone looking at me.  We’ll try to do this right away, to help everyone warm up, and before kiddos have lost interest.  Check out this post about what lifestyle photography is, to learn a bit more!

Everyone asks about outfit choices.  Biggest goals are, mix, don’t match, and wear something you are comfortable in! You don’t want to look at the photos later and be wearing something that you would never wear on a normal day.  Take a peek at this list of 10 tips on what to wear to your family photos.

For family sessions and engagements, typically photos are ready 2-3 weeks after our session.  In the fall, this may bump up to 3-4 weeks.

For weddings, 4-6 weeks is the turnaround time , but I’ll make sure you get some sneak peeks before then!

For family sessions and engagements, I usually book out about a month before hand.  If you are looking for a wedding date, its best to schedule as far in advance as possible.
